I don't wanna say too much, for I feel it will mess it all up.
But all of this talk, this idea, this hope, our dream.... is making me realize...
I just have to have an upholstered headboard
for our bed in the master bedroom!
I fell in love with them in my recent decor project
and now I scour the internet for ideas.

They start around $250 and go up into the thousands....
anyone ever made one before? Are they easy?
Could this be a winter project?

Suzanne I saw an episode on HGTV where they made an upholstered headboard. It really did look easy. They used the following tools, staple gun, glue gun, needle & thread (buttons if you want that look). I know you could do it! The upside is, you can find the fabric and save money there! I like headboard #1... I looks like your style.. If my opinion matters...
I have one that we made and it really is pretty easy! Probably cost around 250 to make - the foam padding you get to go on the board is the most expensive part. Totally easy - you could so do this!
Oh, I want to hear more but meanwhile, I'll be praying! I had a friend who made a headboard and there wasn't much to it, you most certainly could make one!
