Do you take your kids to weddings?

My cousin got married this past weekend.
It was a beautiful wedding, but I have no pictures to prove it.
Mainly because I was chasing my three year old around the back
of the church.
I learned that right now, I am at the stage of not getting a chance to enjoy
certain life events if I have my kids in tow.
I didn't get to catch up with my relatives, or meet anyone new,
I was chasing, reprimanding, and wiping faces.

At one point, I had to pull out our camera...
mainly for entertainment while we were waiting for our food.
This was a nice resturaunt, when I saw table cloths and
these water glasses, I got a bit nervous.
Overall my 18 month old was better
behaved than his sister.

I will say, it went better than expected.
They didn't kick us out.  No big spills, and minimal dirty looks.

Aweee...my husband being lovey-dovey!

Here is my adorable niece, Grace!
Isn't she cute?  I cut her hair last week....remember, I do hair.

My sister-in-law Kristine and I, haven't had a picture together for years.

She was/still is a good friend of mine, that my brother always crushed on.
Somehow, he got her to marry him.

This pic was taken in preparation for the previous pic...

{A girl's gotta have her lips, right?}

And here is their adorable family....

Overall, a great occasion, good food, and good company!

Get me a straight jacket-I'm crazy!

I still have my fingers crossed about "the house",
they have been crossed so long it's beginning to hurt.
I also don't sleep well at night,
cuz I am deciding where I would put my furniture.
A little background you may not have known;
we have been renting for 3 years.  Why? you ask?
Because, when I got knocked up with Tatum we were living in Las Vegas, NV
and our house took forevs to sell...you know,
one of the top places the real estate market tanked.

We decided we wanted to be sure about the next place we bought
and wait for the perfect house at the right time.
We think that time and that house is here!

But someone needs to put me in a padded room.
Branmuffin will probably be the first in line.
I have decided to sell TONS of our stuff on Craig's List
and have started my mission of finding the perfect replacements.

Yesterday alone I sold:
Our kitchen table and 4 chairs
My office Desk
A full length, black, ornate mirror
Coffee Table
and a Pizza Baking Stone from Williams Sonoma we never used.

My house was a revolving door, and when Brandon came home,
he was all, "You sold this?  You sold that?"
And that's when I had to sit him down, hold his beautiful hands in mine and explain,
I will be in a transformation mode when it comes to our new house.
That most women don't buy a new house and just sit on the couch,
they make their house a home,
a really CUTE home, with lots of pillows, color, and
it can almost be NOTHING like what we have been living in.

He just nodded a lot, and kept his mouth shut.
I love that man!

So, I have been looking at curtains, grommet curtains, any suggestions?
I have been looking for a new desk and chair,
may just go easy from Ikea:

Basically, I make out with home decor magazines,
scan the internet, get a rush from selling on Craig's List, and
can't wait to get a can of spray paint in my hands...
I've got ideas swirling!

By the way, I can almost promise you my DIY chair will be done in the next week or so,
pictures will be posted fo' shizzle!

Till then' oh, and pass on any good curtain ideas!
{Snap! I just listed 4 more things on Craig's List!}

Sports ARE a lot of fun?!?!

I haven't been consistent here have I?
But when you are selling your belongings on Craigslist,
looking for window treatments,
and crossing your fingers on a new house, the blog starts to come last.

Not today folks, I am getting used to schmoozing with sports fans and athletes.
Last night, we hit it again for the "Game On" show taping.

I met none other than.....

Glen Perkins, pitcher for the Minnesota Twins!
and his ADORABLE wife, so we hooked her up with some

Must Have Moxie swag and thanked her for coming,
oh- and sharing her hubby with the world.

I also got the chance to meet Ryan Longwell, placekicker for the Minnesota Vikings.

Here I am with Longwell, and Jake my supplier from Silverado.
I slapped a gift certificate in his hand and told him to have his wife call me
cuz what girl doesn't like jewelry?

BTW, both of these athletes were total sweethearts in my book!
Gold Stars all around!! So Stinkin' Cute!!

So far....I will be honest, my sports lingo has not improved, but
if I get to make the wives of these athletes happy, that's better in my book.
If you live in Minnesota, make sure you check your listings for "Game ON",
it airs every Sunday at 10:30 am!
Must Have Moxie is a sponsor and will be getting a mention.
Does that make me famous?

Toodles,

Freak followers RULE!

{Sandra, my favorite Momma.}

Well, well...my faithful, blog followers.
I sure got to know about you, and your loins, and that you all like to spill the beans on what you have been through physically.  Gosh, don't skimp on the gory details {insert sarcasm}.

For those of you who need an update...I asked people to give me some details on your birth stories, a forum for you to do some talkin' and sharing with the Internet world.  And share you did!

I am learning that my followers like to talk and read and comment on dirty hair, big butts, and birthing children.  For those of you who don't know what I am talking about, go back and read those posts, cuz according to the amount of comments I got and what stat counter says-you guys go crazy over talking about sick and twisted stuff.  That translates to me that I can go ahead and keep on being myself, you truly love me for me....and, you like to comment.  I like that you like to comment, its very entertaining, so we will be doing more of this in the future.

Onto the contest.  I had to re post some of these comments, cuz I was rolling around, laughing on my office floor as I read them.  Comments {condensed} will be in blue, my commentary will be in red.

... Two weeks over due, Water broke, no contractions, induced labor, dilated to a 4 neither he nor I could handle the contraction. Oh yea I went DE-dilated to a 2. Navy Doctors had me wait until the A.M. for a C/Section. Developed a temperature..Brandon was born with an infection from my water breaking and having to wait. I was so sick I did not go to ICU until he was 48 hours old. We both had a 7 day hospital stay. Oh the best part of this child birth was I pooped the bed and did not even care. Brandon's dad teased me about it for years. Betty-you admitted to pooping the bed, nuff' said.

Uffda, these babies are hard on us! I puked for 35 weeks with each of my 3 pregnancies. Required IV fluids for about 12 weeks (each preg) and even IV nutrition with one. I will not be doing this again but must say that I loved the feel of the little ones inside me and found labor rewarding (of course it did mean I was finally going to feel well for the first time in 9 months). Tember-You used the word Uffda out loud! I hated the feeling of babies inside me, the fact that you signed up for a third knowing your previous pregnancies forced IV fluids means you deserve a better award than I have in my jewelry case.

1. I had gestational diabetes, kidney stones, pre-clampsia, nausea for 9 months, had stints put in to help pass the kidney stones and was hospitalized 4 times during the pregnancy 2. I was in the hospital for over a week trying to give birth. 2 days on observation, 1 day of medication to get things rolling, 2 days of progesterone, 2 days of recovery. 3. I pushed for over 8 hours. 4. I almost had a vaginal C-section (ladies don't ask) Molly-you had the winning prize at "vaginal c-section", I did not know that existed, and every time I think of that, I shudder.

Baubles & Babies

Here are some pics from my site...
you can find them under the Silverado tab,
labeled Custom Creations.

There are a few, but today I want to focus on the baby combos.
Cuz almost everyone I know has babies, is prego, wants a baby someday,
or has more kids than I could ever stomach!

2 Boys & A Girl

My Three Girls

My Three Sons

They give you an idea of a Mommy bracelet you could start
based on what sex of kids you have.

I have to admit, I told Branmuffin last week that I wanted another baby,
it's impossible cuz he is already fixed,
and when it comes down to it....I suck at pregnancy.

But, there are babies everywhere...and I wanna hold em', smooch on em', and
nuzzle them like crazy!  I love their smells, their sounds, their weight in my arms!

I already have an idea for new baby names:

Boy name idea: Smith
Girl name idea: Henley
Go ahead, steal them, I won't be mad, I will be honored, cuz I am done :(

So, I am gonna do something crazy....
send me a comment on a good baby name, or a crazy birth story,
or brag to me about how many kids you have birthed naturally,
tell me the cutest name you ever heard or the weight of the biggest child birthed through your loins,
even if you don't have a baby yet, but want to announce a pregnancy or
the cutest name ever...
......any comment about babies is an entry.
I will warn you, this will not be fair...I will pick the best comment and you will win this:

 The double hearts, silver bead.
Go ahead, forward this to your friends...cuz everyone has a story,
and now you have a forum to brag on...cuz believe me,
women love to brag about what they did at birth.

I will pick a winner early next week!

Playdates & Pumpkins

Thank goodness for pumpkins and playdates!

And for my friend, Ashley...who took these pics of
my kiddos, and their friends enjoying a Fall day!

Here I am, with my lil' lovebug, Turner!

....and the most comfortable pair of boots I picked up at Target.
They are leather and only $49.99,
and the color {Taupe} seems to go with everything!

A must-have in my book of tricks!
So comfy and they make my Mommy wardrobe,
a bit more fashionable while still being comfortable.

Have you guys hit the pumpkin patch with your punkins'?

A wishin' and a hopin'.....

Here are a couple of pics that should give away
what we are going through in our lives right now.
If you have half a brain you should be able to figure it out.
If not, sorry it's all over my brain so maybe that's why I
think these pictures make it simple.

I don't wanna say too much, for I feel it will mess it all up.
 {Please have it be ours though.}

But all of this talk, this idea, this hope, our dream.... is making me realize...
I just have to have an upholstered headboard
for our bed in the master bedroom!

I fell in love with them in my recent decor project
and now I scour the internet for ideas.

Here are some I found:

They start around $250 and go up into the thousands....
anyone ever made one before?  Are they easy?
Could this be a winter project?
