I feel the Love & I Thank You!

YOU ROCK LIKE ROCKSTARS, and I preciate' cha'!

Seriously, I added the Top Mommy link on my site and you all must
be votin' machines, cuz last time I checked I was in the #121 spot,
and they list 1000's of blogs!
So, if you are voting and sending me love,
I thank you, from the top and the bottom of my heart !

Also, I am so pumped about having 124 followers
after joining the blog world only 5 months ago!
I really feel the love, but would feel it even more if 124
became 1,024 followers, so do what you gotta do!
Seriously, you guys leave the best comments
and inspire me to write every single day...except weekends, I draw the line.

Colleen at  Adventures of a Small Town Girl gave me my first blog award!
Nice!  Yay!  But, it's just bragging rights, no piece of jewelry or sign to hang in my office :(
I guess I will make my own's this?

So thanks to Colleen for giving me the Outstanding Blogger Award , I'm honored.

Here's what I have to do now:

1) Thank the person who gave me this award. Thanks again Colleen!
2) Share 7 things about myself.

  1. I love clipping nails, bring your kids over, I will clip them.
  2. I used to live in Las Vegas, and miss certain things about it
  3. Need a minimum 8 hours of sleep
  4. Love to do laundry, but don't like to scrub bathrooms
  5. I love TJMaxx so much, I should own stock
  6. Shopping makes my heart rate increase, I love it so much
  7. Can eat 10 Oreo Double Stuffs in one sitting, no problem
3) Pass the award along to 15 bloggers who I have recently discovered and who I think are fantastic!

So without further ado, here are my recent favorites:

1. 6th Street Design School
2.  A Wedding Story
3. Bambina Babe
4.  Emily A Clark
5. Gerber Days
6. Lacey in Love
7. Memory Bean Designs
8. Stilettos & Diapers
9.  The Way We Are
10.  Theta Mom
11.  Three Men and a Lady
12.  Today's Cliche
13.  Duvets & Lattes
14.  Fighting off Frumpy
15.  Made By Girl
Check them out!  And send me any you love to look at!

Now for some honesty...this blog thang' can be really tough.
I try to do 5 per week, at the same time everyday, and never miss a day.
I have to say, with stat counter, it can seem like a game some days.
I struggle with should I write how I really feel, or how will I be perceived?
Sometimes when I work on a post, I think people will love it and I will get
lots of comments, and then I don't...or the opposite will happen.
It has been my therapy, but I gotta say, it's like a job some days.

Please tell me you need me to keep it up,
I need the support...or maybe I have just had a couple of rough days
with a teething 14 month old......

Suzanne-- Your blog is that little bit of wisdom, wit, glam and girl talk that we get out of bed for every day. It's visual and our eyes need that. It's honest and real and our hearts need that. It's quality and excellence, and that takes work. Thanks for working hard!! We 'preciate it!!

Congrats Suzanne! It IS a lot of work and people don't realize how much the comments help motivate! Thanks for listing my Blog as one of your favorites, I really appreciate it!

you are amazing! I stay up late just so I can read your blog (don't tell my mom). I love how 'girly' you are! I can have a not so good day, read your blog and fall asleep happy!

Keep up the good work!

Suzanne- I'm not kidding when I tell you your blog is the first thing I do every morning- it's not off to a right start if I can't read it. (I get the whole drawing-the-line-at-the-weekend-thing, but I have to say it's the only thing that really makes me NOT like the weekend.... no SSC!) Whatever you do, write when you like (of course I live for my daily fix)- but you are human, and an incredibly busy mom.... but MORE importantly, don't ever write how you think people want to perceive you. It's your wit, sense of humor and most importantly, your honesty, that makes me love it that much more. So don't over think it- just keep doin' what you're doin'.

I have to say that I agree with many of the other ladies here. I love that you can sign up to have the most recent post sent to your email. Let's face it, there is not enough positivity in this world lately. You may think that this is simply fluff or not really important, but it is actually a bright spot in my day. It's easy for many women to let their life get a little too heavy every now and then, so SSC is exactly what we all need. Love you.

By the way, I can't even list all of things/products that I'm now excited about and "in" to since they were featured on this blog. Happy few days off to you with the blogging. Looking forward to Monday's post.

Keep it up! I love reading your blog! I don't get to comment much ( all - this would be my first!) but I check it everyday. I voted to...I was difficult to figure out if I did it right or not. Brandon will tell you I am not a techie!

Hi Suzanne,
Yes, keep up the blog, it is, as so many have said here, a bright spot to our days, and that is quite an achievement in the world that we are all living in today.
However, none of us wants you to do more than you can, so write when you're inspired, it will shine through!
Just know you are very special to so many people and the time you put into your blog, is appreciated by many!
~Love to you~ Have a GREAT week!

Suzanne--Thanks so much for the mention! Very sweet of you.

And, yes, I agree blogging can feel like a job but or me, it's also that little connection with the outside world that I need every day :) I would only do it if I love it, though. You are doing a great job.
