This was the part of the Glam Girl bedroom where I was
lacking in patience.
I was looking for the perfect bedside table and I needed to have
two of them, preferably the same, and they needed to be a certain height.
Talk about a tall order, I know!
I combed the city and the country side and of course,
Craig's list ads. Craig's list is tricky.
Craig's list ads. Craig's list is tricky.
Some people price their junk so high and then they
don't even respond to emails.....a bit frustrating.
Not to worry...I found my tall, long-legged ladies {tables} from a nice woman on
Craig's List and they only needed some spray paint.
She put the adorable pulls on herself, and I liked them so much,
I kept them. They are little white ceramic flowers.
And now, I love them.....
Same kind of story with these lamps....
I ended up finding their ugliness at a thrift store for $5.99 a piece.
I was even more thrilled that I found two.
After some spray paint in Raspberry,
they became lovely, if I can say that!
Oh, and how could I forget?! The lamp shades are new...
from my fave place on God's green earth...Home Goods.
And the prints behind the lamps are just napkins!
I loved them and decided they would be perfect framed
up with her color scheme...at least something was free in this project!
And with the lights off....
Not to worry....I will give you the full effect of the room soon,
just sew you know, I have a bit more sewing to do before
the room is complete.
Toodles..
The table and the lamp ARE stinkin cute! Love the raspberry:)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I saw a little glimpse of the headboard in one of the pics and can't wait to see the whole thing! What a bright, cheery, beautiful room for Tatum :)
