When we got back from Turner's well check today,
I had a house full of sunshine!
I decided to take advantage of the light and
snap some pics of one of my favorite
parts of the house.
My Dad built this cabinet for my Mom a few
years back. It was a center island in her kitchen,
but it didn't work for them and was in their basement
collecting dust.
When we moved into the new place, I asked
if I could have it.
Isn't it perfect?
It wasn't, it had gold hardware
and rather than replace the hardware,
we spray painted it when we were on a kick of
spray painting the other night!
And it makes me love it even more.
Then I just grabbed stuff that I had around the house
and made the colors coordinate.
The mirror comes from Home Goods, and it
was on clearance for $29, so I think that's pretty good
especially when you have a gift card.
I wanted to make it like the bar area I did in my recent decor project.
Just a bit more kid friendly!
What do you think?
Are you loving the sunshine today?
I sure am!
I love it!!! And I am not loving the sunshine, we are cloudy here in WA with snow and freezing rain.
ReplyDeleteTwo comments- one, your dad has talent, and two, if they have anything else cute like that collecting dust, I'll take it!
