Family Photos

Last week I had the headache pleasure of preparing my kids for family pictures.

Our photo time was 6 pm, and if you have kids under 5 you know, 

that is the worst time of day for them...cuz they have just had enough of you,

the day, and are actually getting ready to hit the sack.

Of course, being the Mom, I had to get them all shined up, lay out their outfits,

explain to Tatum what we were doing and what a pretty smile is.

Branmuffin was still at work, of course, or fighting traffic to get home, so he said.

This is what I wanna know?  

How the heck am I supposed to have "to die for" hair and 

apply makeup, when I have to little monkeys pulling on me and asking me

one million questions?

Oh, and you wanna know what else?

It's 90some degrees out, humid, and WINDY!!

Do you know what that is going to do to my hair and Tatum's hair?

I will tell you...FRIZZ it out, and get stuck in my lipgloss!!

Brandon swooped in and was a major help, 

we arrived and it went off without a hitch!  Except for the fact that Turner 

is teething, so his mood sucked...

My gal Nealy did the pics, she's pretty much the best, 

so go and find her site and her blog...you won't be dissapointed.

Sorry, I just have to say, my kiddos were pretty Stinkin' Cute that day...

my hair didn't frizz too much, and Nealy put our whole family at ease.
