Decor Reveal-Master Bedroom

I am proud to reveal the final pictures of my condo decor project!
Let me refresh you on what the project entailed.

My Mom and I were hired to decorate a condo for a dear friend of mine.
She has recently moved into a two bedroom condo and came to us with a complete 'look book'.

We learned a lot through this process and the main thing we learned is that
a 'look book' is essential to achieving the look a client is looking for.

Without it, I have a feeling we would have been all over the place, because
there truly is so much to choose from out there!

Bear in mind, the look is boudoir, Hollywood, romantic, with lots of mirrored
furniture...a true getaway for this hard working gal to retire to in the evening.

Overall, I would say we are 97% done,
we could spend hours adding more details and layers....

The lamps, prints, and picture frames are all from
Home Goods...you really could outfit your whole home
from there!

That is a picture of her beloved Daddy,
a great memento for her to look at.

The sheers were very minimal in cost, we measured for them
and ordered them online...if I remember right, it was from
JCPenney.com.

When hanging sheers, think of them as you would
the hem of your pants...not too long or short or the whole look will be off.

Don't they make the room SO cozy?

A front on shot of the bedroom, headboard was ordered online,
from CSN.com...we are still looking for the perfect bench for the end of the bed.

The bedding is a beautiful, sateen, set by Mirabella from TJMaxx...
it feels like butter...

As you can see, we still have the tags on these lamps...
we may keep our eyes peeled for something taller.

We hired out for the painting, THANK GOD,
but, painting on your own would save a bunch of money.
The bed and this vanity were the only true splurges.
And we are still rolling around the idea of changing the mirror above the vanity.

These prints, Home Goods, maybe $19.99 a piece.
Can you see me working hard in the mirror?

The beauty and detail of this vanity....mm mm hmmmm..

Lastly, we still need a chair for the bedroom, maybe a
chaise...but it's the type of piece we want to get right.
She may keep her eyes open when out thrift shopping!

What do you think?
Would you want to crawl in that bed and relax after a hard day's work?

Toodles, and stayed tuned..there is much more to come!
